Captcha validation on comments

| | Comments (3)
Ok, ok, Joacim has been bugging me too long now, so I finally took some time to update to latest wordpress (2.02). But not only that! While at it I also bothered to install captcha validation for comments. I tried a few of the ones available, but AuthImage was perfect for my needs and my host. It turned out some of the others required cgi support I didn'thave. It'll be interesting to see if this thing really works. captcha

haha, code "bean"

The sky truly is falling! :)

Nice blog, Anthor! Wordpress is, in my opinion, a great choice. However, you might be interested in that fact that Captcha is a non-recommended technique. Refer to Inaccessibility of CAPTCHA. If you need it for spam protection, why don't you try the Akismet plugin instead?
