Official support for homebrew development on Xbox 360

| | Comments (0)
Yay! Microsoft has announced that they will let every one code games to be played on the Xbox 360 console. It's a pity only C# development will be supported, but it's really cool initiative anyway. Now, let's hope Sony will do something similar for the PS3.

Summer reading

Today I was reading some articles at Joel's fine blog again. I can't remember me reading anything from Joel since I read his book. But I must remind myself to do it more often. I've been told Joel is an idiot that gives advice on problems that was solved in software management decades ago. But I'm a games developer and I guess software management doesn't change as fast as in merchant banking or mobile phone businesses because alot of what he says applies to my everyday problems. However I also like Joels writing because he's simply a damn good writer. Anyway today I found "Stevey's Drunken Blog Rants" on the "the Joel Reddit" feature of his blog. Highly recommended!
